Cards
All Wisconsin residents are eligible to apply for a free library card. Cards will be issued to out of state residents for a one time fee of $25.
Wisconsin residents may apply for a card with proper identification. As a member of the MORE consortium of libraries in west central Wisconsin all MORE cards are valid and anyone holding a current card from any of those member libraries need not have a separate card for the Pepin Public Library. Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the application to receive a card.
Parking / Accessibility
Parking is available in front of and along side the library. Handicap accessible ramps provide access to both doors. Handicap parking spaces are located in front of the building. The front entry and hallway doors have automatic door openers to assist people with entering the building.
Reserves
Patrons may reserve items by using the MORE web page or calling the Pepin Library staff and requesting the item. Patrons will be notified when their item has arrived. Patrons have approximately one week in which to pick up and check out their items. Materials not picked up within that time will be returned to the owning library or moved to the next patron.
Checkout
Patrons may check out items for two weeks for the new adult print materials and three weeks for other print or audio materials. DVD/Blu-Ray discs and magazines are checked out for one week. All material, unless otherwise marked, may be returned in the book drop located to the left of the main entrance door.
Renewals
Materials may be renewed for an additional check out period of the same length of time as the initial check out, providing no one else has placed a reserve on the item. Renewals can be made through the MORE web page, by using the 1-800-MYRENEW number or calling the local library phone number during open hours.
No Fines
No fines are charged on overdue items. Replacement charges for lost or damaged materials will still apply.
